Brand:  Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren met while studying at the Arnhem Academy of Art and Design.  The two moved to Paris after college and went on to launch the Dutch fashion house Viktor & Rolf in 2005.  Their focus was on bridging the gap between fashion and art.  They were initially shunned by the fashion community, but were able to build strong ties with the art world.  Viktor & Rolf fragrance line was created out of the duos desire for exploring the immediate “real life” impact fragrances can have through story-telling, something that runway designs take time to execute into consumer fashion.
