Indus Valley Head

Product:  An exquisite Gandharan stucco head from the Indus Valley, c. 4th-5th Century AD.  Portrays a unique individual sporting a jaunty mustache. His long wavy hair is beautifully detailed, and is held in place with a fancy, ornament-studded headdress that has flowers woven into it. Traces of red pigment typical of the Hadda types are visible in his hair.
