Brand: Leon Breitling launched his watch company in Switzerland in 1884 at the age of 24. Early on, Breitling patented many innovative designs giving the brand its esteemed place in history. In 1884, the brand developed innovations that made their watches more accurate and easy to use for pilots. The precise timekeeping of these watches is why they remain closely associated with the world of aviation. Breitling was the first Swiss watch to head to space, worn by Scott Carpenter in 1962. And, worn by one of our all time favorite characters, James Bond, in the 1965 movie Thunderball.
