Brand:  Benson & Clegg was founded in London in 1937 by Harry Benson and Thomas Clegg.  The company is one of only sixteen bespoke tailors to be members of the elite Savile Row Bespoke Association, an organization convened to establish a method of identifying garments specifically made by London’s Savile Row tailors who meet the association's required specifications.  They were granted a royal warrant to be an official supplier to King George VI and to Prince Charles.

Product:  When designing the Great Seal, Founding Fathers like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams were tasked with choosing a national symbol, with the bald eagle eventually chosen over other options in 1782.  The Eagle was chosen to appear on the Great Seal of the country because it symbolized strength and power and was believed to only be found in North America.  William Barton is the artist largely attributed to designing the Eagle Seal.  These buttons are crafted and made in England following British traditions established in the 18th century.
