The lamp, hidden in the sands by a powerful sorcerer, holds within it a genie who grants its discoverer three wishes. This coin captures the essence of that timeless story, bringing its magic and wonder to your collection. The obverse side features the crest of the Republic of Palau, showcasing Neptune with a trident, flanked by a chest of treasure and a mermaid. This magnificent design is set against the inscription "REPUBLIC OF PALAU" and the denomination of $5 at the base, with "RAINBOW'S END" adorning the lower section. On the reverse, the coin depicts a colorized magical lamp lying in the sands of a desert, with dunes and a starry night sky in the background. The smoke emanating from the lamp is highlighted in blue, symbolizing the genie’s imminent emergence. In the distance, three travelers on camels journey through the desert, adding to the scene's mystical allure.
